Join us every 4th Tuesday of the month at the Haiku Community Center (see map below) from 6-8PM. HFUU meetings are a forum to network for effective local food production and distribution!
|5:30-6:00||Happy Hour||Arrive, check-in, visit. The pre-meeting is always full of socializing and mingling. Bring your potluck dish to share and lend a hand in set-up while meeting new friends.|
|6:00-6:30||Locavore Potluck||The locavore potluck starts after a brief circle to count off and give thanks for food and community.|

|Legislative Updates||Argicultural legislative updates and upcoming bills are presented. Learn how legislation affects you and your business, start exploring legislation and take action.|
|7:10-7:30||Guest Speaker||Chef's Corner||Chefs demonstrations provide entertainment and secrets from the kitchen that will tempt your palette towards locally grown food.|
|Cycles of Light and Life||Join our beloved local astronomer, Harriet, on an adventure through space, time, and mythology as she describes the planetary motions that keep Earth humming on track.|
|7:40-8:25||Featured Speaker||TBA||Enjoy presentations on the gamut of agriculture from weed control to legislation to perfect heirloom seed varieties and compost tea.|
The locavore potluck is a celebration of local, organic food and community! Enjoy original recipes and powerful discussions on local topics: farming, legislation, environment, community networking, and much more! Bring a dish to share and the potluck is free!
If you do not bring a dish, we kindly ask for donations:
- $10 for members
- $12 for non-members

This is a waste-free event.
Bring a plate and utensils for dinner or purchase our recyclable sets ($2/set).
Bring your home grown produce, seeds, or plant starts to share and go home with what others brought. Make the produce swap abundant & fun! Share your produce and knowledge. Please label any items that may be less common :)
