The Haleakala Chapter is a volunteer-based, grassroots organization that advocates for small farms and ranches on Maui, Hawaii. We are a local chapter of the Hawaii Farmers Union United and the National Farmers Union. We meet once monthly in Haiku on the Northshore of Maui to promote the sharing of knowledge, resources, food, and community. We typically have 100-150 people at our meetings. Meetings are free and all are welcome! See our Meetings page for details. Enjoy our website, and feel free to contact us with any questions or comments!
The Hawaii Farmers Union advocates for the sovereign right of farmers to create and sustain vibrant and prosperous agricultural communities for the benefit of all Hawaii through cooperation, education, and legislation.
